When does Diaspora Hub launch?
We're onboarding a founding cohort of experts and partner organisations now, starting with health, financial services, ICT and agriculture. Early-access members get first use of the platform before public launch.
How are experts verified?
Every expert submits government ID, two to three professional references and their employment history, all reviewed by a person before the profile can take bookings. Experts can add confirmation from a professional body or diaspora association to earn an Enhanced Verified badge.
Can government institutions use it?
Yes. Ministries, parastatals and local authorities get a dedicated path: a formal quote for internal approval, purchase-order capture before invoicing, configurable payment terms such as net 30, and invoices formatted for Zimbabwean tax record-keeping.
Can a donor fund an engagement for someone else?
Yes. A donor or NGO can pay for an engagement delivered to a ministry, municipality or community organisation. The payer and the beneficiary are recorded separately, and impact data is captured for your own reporting.
How do experts abroad get paid?
Once both sides confirm an engagement took place, the balance is released and paid out to the expert, net of the platform commission, through an international payout rail.
